“可再生能源技术培训班”项目情况简介
一、项目基本情况
受中华人民共和国商务部委托， 农业部沼气科学研究所将于2008年6月4日至8月2日在四川成都举办“2008发展中国家可再生能源技术培训班”，培训班的工作语言为英语。本次技术培训班的主要内容为：中国汉语言及文化简介；中国的自然资源、环境与发展；中国农村能源的现状和政策；农村户用沼气池设计与施工、沼气微生物学、沼气输配、生活废水净化沼气池、沼液的综合利用及后处理技术、沼气卫生效果、小型农场沼气发酵装置、秸秆气化装置、太阳能技术、风能技术等。培训班将邀请来自农业部沼气科学研究所和与可再生能源领域相关的科研单位、政府部门以及大学的专家、官员和学者为学员授课。该培训班通过课堂教学、实习和参观相结合的方式，使学员了解中国改革开放30年来在可再生能源领域方面取得的巨大成就，并且在理论和实践上获得可再生能源知识及工程设施的工艺、设计和施工方面的技术。此次培训班的招生对象为发展中国家相关领域的管理和技术人员，每国1至2人。培训班全程跨越夏季，成都6-8月的平均气温估计在25℃-35℃。
二、承办单位基本情况
中国农业部沼气科学研究所（BIOMA）成立于1979年，是一个集科学研究、技术开发、工程设计和管理干部及技术人员培训为一体的国家级专业机构，主要从事生物质能资源开发及综合利用技术研究，厌氧微生物应用基础理论和应用技术研究，工业废水、城镇生活污水、大型畜禽养殖场废弃物厌氧消化处理及达标排放处理研究，农村能源、生态建设及人-畜-禽共患疾病防控等方面的工作。从事关系我国沼气建设、生态环境保护和可持续发展的以社会公益性为主的科学研究和技术服务。
我所技术力量雄厚，现有在职职工94人，其中研究员8人、副研究员和高级工程师25人、博士3人、硕士9人。自上世纪80年代起我所曾先后与清华大学、四川大学、中国石油大学等院校联合，培养了二十余名硕士和博士研究生。2003年起，我所开始招收微生物学、环境工程、农业生物环境和能源工程三个方向硕士研究生。
近30年来，沼气所共承担并完成260多项国家和部省级科研项目，有30多项科技成果获国家和省部级奖励。并开展了多项国际合作项目，修建援外示范工程和培训专业人才等。受中国政府的委托一共举办了37期国际培训班，为90多个国家培训了778名学员，并为国内35个省市自治区、直辖市培训5000多名农村能源行业管理干部和专业技术人员。

Training Course on Renewable Energy Technology (PROGRAM INTRODUCTION)
I. General Introduction
Entrusted by the Ministry of Commerce of P. R. China, the Biogas Institute of Ministry of Agriculture (BIOMA) / Asia-Pacific Biogas Research and Training Center (BRTC), P. R. China, will hold “Training Course on Renewable Energy” from June 4th to Aug.2rd ,2008 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. The working language of the training course is English. The main content of training covers:

The training course will invite the experts, officials and scholars from Biogas Research Institute of Ministry of Agriculture and the relative institutions with energy field, governmental departments and universities to present lectures to participants. The training course enables participants to have better understanding of the 30 years’ great achievements in the aspect of renewable energy obtained since the reform and opening-up in China via teaching and learning activities inside and outside of classroom, practice, and visit, and obtaining the knowledge of renewable energy and the process of engineering equipment, design and the technology of construction from the theory and practice. The participants should be the managers and technicians in the related fields in the developing countries, 1 to 2 persons from each country. The course passes through all summer season. It is estimated that the average temperature from June to August is about 25-35℃ in Chengdu.
II. Brief Introduction to Training Organizer
Founded in 1979, BIOMA/BRTC is a professional national institute engaged in biogas field with integration of biogas research technical development, project design and technical training. BIOMA/BRTC is principally engaged in the research on the exploration of biomass energy resources and the integrated utilization technology; applied fundamental theory on anaerobic microbiology and the applied technology, industrial wastewater, urban domestic sewage, anaerobic digestion for large scale animal and poultry breeding farm residues as well as the discharge standard. Additionally some work on renewable energy, ecological construction and the control of zoonosis are covered.
BIOMA/BRTC has stronger technical force. There are 94 stuff members who are 8 professors, 25 associate professors and senior engineers , among them 3 Doctor Degree, 9 Master Degree in the institute. In 1990, It was authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture that The Key Open Lab on Anaerobic Microbiology was affiliated to set up in BIOMA. The institute has advantageous energetic subject as anaerobic microbiology and biogas technology in China. It was from 1980’s of the last century since BIOMA respectively jointly with Tsinghua University, Sichuan University, China Petroleum University, culturing over 20 graduate students for MS and PhD degree. It was from 2003 when BIOMA/BRTC started enrolling the MS graduate students in three specific fields as microbiology, agricultural environmental engineering and biological environment and energy engineering of agriculture.
In the past 30 years, BIOMA/BRTC has fulfilled many of important research projects. BIOMA has conducted many of international cooperative projects to establish supportive demonstrational projects in foreign countries and conducting technical training of technical talents. Entrusted by the Chinese Government, BIOMA/BRTC has held 37 international training courses totally for 778 participants from over 90 countries. Besides, BIOMA/BRTC trained over 5,000 energy administrators and technicians for 35 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and jurisdictional cities.
